About Portumna Chamber

In March 2008 Portumna Chamber of Commerce was formed with the purpose of fulfilling the following objectives :-
To promote Portumna as a major commercial area.
To create fellowship and unity amongst our members.
To represent the members' views on matters affecting the commercial life of the area.
To provide information to members.
To arrange suitable and appropriate social events for members and their guests periodically.

Among the many projects undertaken by the founding committee in 2008/2009 were:
The introduction of a pilot parking scheme in the town,
The implementation of the Business Watch scheme,
The introduction of collective marketing initiatives such as the Christmas Draw
and work is currently underway to produce a free town map / brochure for Portumna to highlight the marvelous array of businesses and amenities Portumna has to offer.

If you wish to become a member of Portumna Chamber of Commerce, please complete the attached form and return it to any member of the committee at your earliest convenience. An annual membership fee of €100 applies and cheques can be made payable to Portumna Chamber of Commerce.
